Saturday night (about 2am) i couldn't sleep so i went to go down stairs to get a drink of water and i noticed my mom was looking out of the skreen door she said that somthing was splashing water in the bay (we have our own private bay) and I was like ok so I went down stairs put on my shoes grabbed the flash light to see whats going on so I went out side and walk carefully down towards the dock. The moon was pretty bright so I could see pretty good I stopped and looked. There was a huge moose right beside the dock eating roots from lilly pads (it was a bull) so I stood really still so it wouldn't notice me then I heard more spashing I looked over to the other side of the bay and there was another moose playing in the water (it was a cow) so I stood there for about 30 minuts watching these 2 animals playing around in the water is was the most amazing thing I've ever seen has anyone else seen somthing like this before?

 

No I haven't. Sounds like it was a pretty cool experience.

That's something I sure won't see here in Indiana. It's things like this that make the outdoors special. Congrats on the encounter.

 

YUP!!! Just about every time I go to the beach the river a lake or any other large body of water there seems te be at least one heffer grazing on hoho's, and diet pepsi....

nice bull man! yea but the only thing that sucks is that we are not aloud hunting moose in our sector but I am going up north this fall for the 3 weeks hopefully I can pull somthing out like you got my dad said last year he saw a couple of guys with a bull and the rack was wider then there truck! and they had a F-250 so i can't wait to see what we get out of up there
