Default buying a new machine?

just got the word from the little woman today. i can go out and buy a new machine. i think this is so i can give mine to my son, but who cares. new is new!! any suggestions out there what to buy. i haven't been checking out anything lately cause i never figured i'd get another one anyway. but here i am. too many choices out there. i've always owned polaris machines (have four at present) and have had great luck with them other than minor problems. think i would like EFI because of the crappy oxygenated fuel we have to buy here (screws up carbs bad), and of course engine braking, camo, winch, rear power port etc.. what are the suspension options these days? how bout clearance? who's got the best of the best when it comes to features and reliability? do i need bigger than 500cc? it's what i have now and seems to be sufficient for everything i throw at it now. i don't like the idea of additional weight. how bout it, what shoould i be considering with carte blanche???

if you want a low weight 500 i would say the suzuki vinson i have heard good things bout that atv. or get the twin peaks 700 efi if you want fuel injection but that may be more power then you are looking for. you said you want reliability and low weight then another polaris out of of the picture for they are higher maintanance. but the rest of the machines out there seem to be very good in the reliability department my arctic cats have been great except they are a lil heavier but still like 50 pounds lighter then the polaris. it seems like all of them have their quarks it depends on what you are gonna be using it for. if you want something for just trail just work just mud or just to tool around on.

If you have had good luck with Polaris it won't hurt to stick with them. THe 500 EFI looks nice. You also might want to check out the Kind Quad, it is lighter and lots of power.
