Stihl MS361

I just got a new Stihl MS361 and this thing rocks! It is lightweight, powerful, and has no vibration. Compared to my Husky I traded in on it I can lay down twice as much wood in half as much time.

Not much difference than the ages old Chevy/Ford or motor oil arguments. I used Stihls for years (first influenced by an Idaho logger/neighbor) until recently going to a Husky. On a apples to apples cubic inch/bar size/chain pitch basis, I can't tell any difference in cutting ability. Both spin at about the same RPM, same weight, same anti-vibration engineering, same frame style. Husky costs a couple of hundred dollars less than an equivalent Stihl due to Stihl's captive dealer network. How sharp the chain is kept is what makes any cutting ability difference.
