Rifle scope and bear hunt
Thanks for the good wishes.
The tracks cost $2,500 for all 4. I had to buy them before April 1st because they were going up to $3,100. That's pretty steep, but it isn't any more than buying a good used snowmobile and I can use the quad all year long now.
I didn't get a chance to take it in any mud, but I did take it through a cat tail swamp with just the rear tracks and the 4x4 engaged. It worked great and I never got wet. I did kick up a huge buck bedded down in the middle of the swamp. I must have rode past him 2 or 3 times and he didn't get up until I was almost on top of him.
I come home for 2 weeks in February so I'm looking forward to trying it out on the trails and deep snow drifts.

Rifle scope and bear hunt
a couple years back my mom shot a deer and we realized after she had shot it that the end of her scope moved up and down about a quarter of an inch. well dad sent it back in and it was a tasco so it had a lifetime warranty and got a brand new one. she couldn't hit anything with it so he put it on his 10-22 and then bought her a leopold varix 2 and she can't hit anything with that scope so we made her put about a box of shells through the target this year now she can hold a pattern but it is hard to get used to a new scope. i decided to get rid of my redfield that was like 20 years old and graduate up to a nice brand new nikon and i had a heck of a time getting used to it but now i can hold a very nice lil group at 100 yards.
