Dee, Loved your pics. How did you get to take that many animals? I no nothing about safaris, but I guess I just assumed that you paid by how many days you were there and how many animal permits you got. I probably could have afforded the flight over and back. No, guide, no permits. Wow, some fine animals for sure. To get one of those would be awesome. all of them, well you'd have to explain how that feels. I did get a 357 like the one in your pic, for Christmas. I have wanted one of those for years and years. Congrats on the fine hunt of a lifetime. Ed

 

Ed, thanks for the props. I bought a package deal on the safari, which covered the cost of some of the animals. The rest I paid for on a per animal cost. You can go on a hunt with airfare, hunt, about 4 - 5 animals and everything included (except taxidermy & tips) for under 10K. You may even get the taxidermy for that price as well. Let me know if you would like additional info on safaris.

 

Last week I found out that the kudu I took last year was the largest taken in all of South Africa in 2007!!! It's not a world record since there have been a few 60 inches or better in the past, but it was the largest taken that year.
