Good ideas about propane and 12v systems. What about water? I've often though that with a nice tin roof and a gutter system to catch the water you could keep a cistern filled for water. Drop a little bleach in there and it would be fine for baths, dishes, etc.

 

Only with the bleach......if your close by a creek or stream,you can use it for bathing....

 

I have a camp in bloomfield VT we have a wood stove for heat, gas light gas cook stove and an outhouse its been standing for 25 years. I love it up there just wish it was ok to ride my wheeler there dam paper company property
