Do you really think its a "Panther"?... I have a video of a big cat in Alabama,Wilcox county, about 20 yrs ago.The wildlife folks said it was a Jacaranda or something like that, which is a big cat from south America. They come in different colors, black, rust, and lite tan. Its possible,I have seen a large cat next to the Tombigbee river, near Coffeville.Al. It was real. I was deer hunting.the cat crossed a field about a hundred yds away from me.I was real careful when I climed down from the blind.

Wouldn't surprise me. There have been numerous sightings in Massachusetts. Mostly out in the middle to Western part of the state. Wildlife is spreading as hunting pressure decreases. With the spread of game animals the predators are making a comeback. When I was a kid you were lucky to see a deer every so often. Now they are all over the place. I've had deer, turkey, coyote, fox, fisher, mink, etc. run right through my yard. I live on a 1/2 acre 20 miles outside of Boston. There have even been some black bear sightings and moose are starting to become more common.

Without any man made object around how can you tell its not a black house cat? Kinda like taking a picture of a fish you catch, with out a person or known object beside the fish you can not tell if its 1 lb or 15 lbs.

Without the beer cans you could not tell this is a 3lb Brook/specal trout not a 1/2lb by just looking at it on the ground alone.

They have tracks and large 70-90 pound cat tracks have been spotted in Pittsburgh as well--- 50 miles away.

There is a such thing as a black bobcat...... I doubt very much this is an actual panther simply because of the climate in Pittsburgh.

This video IMO is not a panther, but rather a black bobcat....... still a large cat but not nearly a large as a panther.......

It looked like it had a long tail. Never heard of a black bobcat. Don't all bobcats have a bobbed tail? Just curious.

there are black bobcats, and that is not one. Bobcats have a little "bob" for a tail. That definatly looks like a cougar. There have been reports of black cougars, Its hard to tell the size of the cat in the video like others have said, but with the tail close to the ground and the little "flip" at the end of it really makes me think cougar. Someone in PA go out and kill the damn thing and put the rumors to rest.
