I'm not sure if this is the best category for this posting, but I'm looking to buy a snow plow for my Suzuki Vinson and was hoping to get some feedback on what you guys have found to be junk and which brands are good. Also, where is best place you've found to buy?

 

My first quad was an AC with an AC plow. That thing was awesome. Used to plow commercially with it. Never had a problem. Probably won't work for the Vison.

I now have a moose plow 60in. Its seems to be fine. Harder to hook up than my old setup, but have had no problems with it. I plow an alley that is a block long in north Chicago.

 

I had an 05 vinson 500. I used a swisher brand 48" plow. It was tough as hell. Very heavy as it was all steel like a pickup truck blade! My only complaint was it was a PITA to take off, not a quick release. But, if you don't have to take it on and off repeatedly than that is a non-issue. If you look in the polaris forum under plows there are a lot of current discussions on brands of plows. It sounds like moose is a preferred brand. I have a glacier plow by polaris. It is not the toughest, but it has a quick release and is light. Good luck with that Michigan snow! I sure don't miss that! (born in Battle Creek, raised in Vicksburg outside Kalamazoo).

 

Always had good luck with the plows from Cycle Country.
