Have you looked at the price, they are kinda expensive. $6,000 for a tent on wheels. I can buy an awfully nice tent and ATV for that.

If they were half that price I would probably have one.

Two things you should always have:
1: A gun or two (shotgun, pistol, rifle with good amount of ammo)
2: TP - you never know when you will need it!

Also, from my experience, if you are out and about at night in camp and run into a large met eating critter. You can shoot it (or at it if you so choose). Then you can clean your brithces up with the TP!

You can also build your own trailer if you have access to a welder. I have built 6 all together and the first one I built has been abused very badly and still keeps going. I have had to skid it across rocks and drag it up hills with a winch and it keeps asking for more. It even had the gumption to take a trip onits own out of the back of my truck on the highway! Got a little skuffed up and a little bent but still tracks fairly straight. For $150 I could not be happier with it.

If I could figure out how to upload pictures I would post a picture for you. Very esy to build.

For my trailer I went to Harbor Freight and got a small car trailer. It cost less than $300. I cut the parts so the trailer is the same width as my ATV. I put a layer of rubber on the wood deck and covered that with indoor/outdoor carpet. I wired up the brake light so it works with my quad. It doesn't look super cool, but it gets the job done. We have a nice table, chairs, tent toilet stool, stove, lantern, kitchen gear, two small ice chests, tools, spare tires, clothes, sleeping bags, deluxe sleeping pads and a bunch of misc. stuff.

Here you can see the camp I set up with the stuff on my trailer.

I can't say that I have had it in much soft stuff yet. There is not really a lot of weight on it so I don't expect any problems. Put the ATV in 4x4 and lock up the front end and I should be able to pull it through anything less than a mud bog. And that I don't plan on trying.

Well, I think I was able to attach a picture of my trailer and ATV. Hopefully it shows up. IT is not as fancy as Traildad's but meets my needs very well. It is just returning from having delivered its cargo to my remote cabin site.
