Default Morels!!

You guys getting out there finding the morels? I've found 40-50 so far, and plan to be out this weekend doing some turkey hunting/mushroom hunting. Just wondering if anyone else enjoys them as much as I do?!

Do you sell them or just eat them? They fetch alot of money out here in Oregon. I always wanted to use my atv to hunt for them, but scared of all the asians out there that are heavily armed and will kill anyone in "their" area! LOL!

I've found a few but the ground is still pretty cold. A couple more days and they should really start popping.

Between having to deal with trespassing turkey hunters, trespassing ATV riders and trespassing mushroom hunters it's hard to get any time to hunt turkeys or morels myself.

Hey MrD, the kids and i go out every year to morel hunt. It is a great thing watching the kids run around looking for them i just carry the bucket for them. Then we bring them home clean them with very cold water and fry them up in butter.

SO soso good.

I just eat them. Cant see myself selling them, though, I have given a few bags away to friends or family.

Dang, they must really like them!
