Wink Itching to be workin the woods

So i got notice no one wants to get unless it could conveniently come around halloween, that was friday, now here in sauk county WI its snowing pretty good so Im goin to the land to some hinge cutting and make bigger better buck sanctuary. No place id rather be when its snowing than in the wood. in the valleys its so calm and relaxing all you hear is snowflakes striking leaves. Gives ya a few moments to reflect on the yrs hunt with my 7yr old son whos hooked for life. I need to come uo with a comfortabble tent to stay out there all night and give a dirtnaps to the wiley coyote. Despite the snow fallin I made one good thicket by droppimg hingecuts but so much more to do and need the snow to give and let me get ta plantin plots . I want it to snow or sunny and 65degrees. so lets march on mother earth dont leave us hangin weve got lots to do!

Snowing here in New England today too. Starting to get the itch for some tree work and back country shooting too... Guess it will have to wait.

It's the last day of winter so hopefully it will warm up soon in the north too.

Well, OPT, I really appreciate your sharing these vital Texas weather statistics to we, snowed in, New Englanders. So kind of you to think of us in our time of need.

I'll be sure to let you know how it is up here when you are over 100 for weeks on end down there in the summer. Just to be fair.

After cleaning up the 8-9 inches of snow yesterday the storm turned back on and dumped another inch or two on us. Feel free to laugh at our misfortune. Happy spring everyone!

I think last year was the weirdest year I've ever seen. North Texas got more snow than we did here in Mass.
