Farmr 123, I too would like for you to send me a drawing of the atv calf carrier..
i have seen pictures of the kind that hook up to the back of a pickup...
an atv calf carrier would be great...

i just recently came into this part of the Forum... I sometimes post in the sand duning section 'cause I have a 250r, also...
This part of the Forum seems to be a lot more informative, and less
degrading!! We ranch here in Texas, and have about 400 mother cows..
I have really enjoyed the posts here in this section, and will be hanging around
in here, now that I have found y'all...

No sweat, just give me a couple days to re-write the text for the instructions I made up. I saved the picture but like an idiot I forgot to save the text. I need to run to the shop & take a few measurements & will type it up again. I should get it done next few days. Thanks for being patient.

Since we're talking trailers I got a question. My trailer's floor is made of metal treadboard which is great but it gets slick as ice when it's raining. Anybody know what to do to add some traction to it? I thought about getting a rubber pickup bed mat but I think it will be more trouble than it's worth.

Hillhound,
Try some of the bedliner paint. You can buy a can at Walmart for about $7. It's kind of rough after spraying it on. Sprinkle a little sand on too (on the bedliner paint before it dries) if you want it rougher.
