Texridr,
I understand your warning about 3 psi, however considering the ride differnece and after 3 hours of pleasent riding at the 3 psi with no problems, I think Ill stick with the lower value until I have to reinstall the tire. At 5 psi they are like solid tires, no detectible give and hard on an old mans everything.

i run 26 x10 x12on my 500..heavey to steer but good in the crappy stuff if i was a young big guy and did not go in the bush all day i ( might ) get 27' tires ...i get on some pretty crappy trails

also forgot to mention (from Experience )the harder the tires the easier to puncture i run 4 or 5 depends on how rough and rocky the trail is
