I have found five other ATVs running ITP terracross RT tires with 14" rims that shake so bad they are unsafe to drive. I have identified the problem with the help of different tire shops. The problem is ITP released a batch of tires with high spots on them. Causing the tire to be out of round. ITP is not standing behind any of these, and I sent some to California to the manufacture and recently got them returned with an email later in the day that nothing was wrong. I have other ITP tires that do not have high spots and that due run true and round.

A tire that is out of round can not be balanced. I have tires that are 1" taller on one side of the tire that the other. Causing a bouncing up and down of the suspension. When both fronts are bouncing in opposite directions it will cause you to loose control of the ATV.

I would have to say ITP customer service and their two year warranty on their tires is terrible, the worst I have seen. What good is a warranty if they are not going to stand behind it.

If you have these tires and are experienceing that same problem please respond or contact ITp customer service.

I belive ITP needs to do the right thing and recall these problem tires before something happens.

 

Not my experience at all with ITP customer service! I had a set of defective tires once (molds had not been cleaned properly, so cases were thin in some spots), and I called them and had new tires there on my doorstep the next afternoon!
