Exclamation Flywheel FF97

Good afternoon,

Obviously I am new to this site....Just purchased my first quad a few weeks ago and man oh man did God pull a funny one on me. It is a 1999 Polaris Sportsman 500 and the first time I rode it (less than 50 feet!!!) it died. I thought at first it was the CDI--no biggie, 80 bucks and I would be back to riding...nope, I have discovered that the magnet came loose from the stator and now my flywheel and stator are shot to he**. Can someone please, please, please help me find a Flywheel (FF97) for this. I just don't want to spend $300 for a new one.

Thanks

Andrew

Welcome to the forums.

Don't know if they had that particular model, but someone here had parts for sale over in the Polaris section.

Try these guys, they sell used Polaris parts. Al's Snowmobile Parts Warehouse - Snowmobile Parts, Snowmobile Parts, and More Snowmobile Parts

They deal in sleds but polaris uses the FF97 in many sleds also.
