Hey! new guy here from missouri, I am a seasoned mud rider but have recently taken a bit of interest in sand dune riding as well and although im sure my 4x4 would do fine in the dunes I do have a need for speed. I recently acquired a 250cc mojave engine and gonna start the build from there out, dont have anything else yet. As far as sport bikes go I am a sponge ready to absorb any and all information you guys have to offer on the subject so feel free to just start spitting it at me. Hopefully I dont soon learn that my engine is the biggest piece of crap ever designed, so far all I know about it is its 250cc, 4 stroke, liquid cooled so im sure it isnt the most powerful by any means, but tell me whatever ya know!!!

Welcome.. not sure what your looking at building or how much you think it might cost to put it all together.. might be better off getting a complete bike ( bad engine ) to put that engine in. I'd be searching Ebay. Where might I ask are you going dune riding in MO? Native to KC myself and the closest thing in MO to a dune is what is left over when the river floods..

 

Dune riding takes place down in oklahoma havent gotten into myself yet as im a pretty serious mud rider but have some friends that go down for a weekend at a time and they say its fun!! So yeah that's exactly what I want actually is a complete bike with a blown engine!!
