New to ATV community and need help!

I just baught a Suzuki LT250EF. I am getting a little fire to the plug by the pull start but I am suspecting it is not enough to fire the engine. I have began chasing wires with a short finder and I am stuck in wiring pergatory. I am getting power from the ignition panel to the back of the quad but seems to end there. I am trying to get some extra juice from the battery up to the plug but the power seems to stop in the back by the solenoid. I have tried to jump the solenoid and no luck. When I hit the start button both the relay and the solenoid click. I tried to jump the relay directly from the hot wire coming in do the yellow and black wire going to solenoid and it just clicks continuously when i turn the key on. I am not sure if I have a bad relay or solenoid. I would also love to know if I can bypass the electric start and still get juice from the battery to the plug to assit in firing up the engine. I suspect my magnito may be week but it is still producing electricity to the plug to create a little spark and bit of a jolt when I pull start it. Any help will do. Thanks
