New to the scene - about to by Chinese

We do have Craigslist and Kijiji and Auto trader etc. And of course there's Ebay. The prices here are nuts. Even new prices in Canada are way off US prices. Just check out Yamaha or Honda Canada websites and you will see.

I did check the major Mfg sites in Canada and the prices are much higher.
How about you buy the vehicle in the US and drive it through the woods to where your wife can meet you?
If you don't have the money now I would say you are better served saving a few more dollars and waiting. Or do the homework and drive over here and get one and take it back.

What you might want to do, if you are seriously considering an off brand, is call the parts department where you're looking at first, and tell them you need a starter, or some other part. See what their answer is. Do they have it in stock, have to order it or call China and see if they have any over there. If they have to order it from China, you're looking at about 4 weeks for a fast delivery.
