Default frustrated!!

hey guys, just started this account.. Ive been rideing and fixing atv's my whole life, but i have never come across one like the 70cc 22E atv i just bought for my nephew.
It just wont start all it does is kick and kick granted its used. I took the whole motor apart timed it and checked it out. everythings good. has great fire and cleaned the carb, now i'm stumped was wondering if anyone might be able to help me solve my problem, so here's a somery of the shape its been in since i bought it. 70cc no light or tail light no key switch no kill swich, ive been jumping the sylanoid to start it. But like i said lots of fire wants to go but just wont catch...I would appreciate any imput i can get i bought it for my nephew to start on and thought for sure i could get it runnin. thanks, michael

Well if it has fuel and spark, I'd check the compression next; it should be around 115-120 PSI. I'm sure you are aware how finicky 2 strokes can be with spark plugs; if you haven't swapped in a new one, try it. Last and not least, I'd check the carb float level and the condition of the needle and seat; gas now days can eat away the rubber tip of a float needle, causing it to flood.

Welcome to the forums. Maybe ask your question in the Chinese quad section if it is a non-major brand.

Ive checked the compression with the old thumb trick it seems to be good i also ripped it all apart to check the piston and rings, and the timeing. It was all in supriseingly gd. shape, the timeing was off so i corrected it and now it kicks over but only had it started twice and wouldnt idle and was realy hard to get started, I actualy dont have a battery in it yet but i'm useing a boost on my battery charger to turn it over. and its actualy a 4 stroke almost the exact same as a honda engine.
I would appreciate any help thanks.

You might want to check the valve lash if it gets to tight it doesn't let the valve close all of the way
