New to the forums, looking to purchase some type of atv in the next year but need to find some direction first on what to look for, which is why I'm here. At first I thought I wanted a sport quad, but now am leaning more towards something with 4x4 to run a snow plow with in the winters. So I guess I'm here to find a happy medium between those two if such a thing exists.

 

Welcome. If you're looking for a sporty quad that has 4wd there are 3 geared towards that kind of activity. Yamaha Wolverine 450, Polaris Scrambler 500, and Can-Am Renegade 500 or 800. The sportiest of the bunch is the Renegade. Not sure if you can find a plow for any of these machines though. Most 500 class machines will be able to do just about anything you would ever need a quad to do.

Thanks, I'll look into those. Would love to have a Can-Am, but at the end of the day will probably be out of my price range. I still have a lot to figure out though which is why I'm here to poke around and research before I buy.

Like what I'm reading about the Wolverine 450 and found that they make plow kits for it. But, like I said I'm a newbie and need to keep reading up on things.
