How about wisconsin?? 2.5 hour drive north will put you on about 75 miles of connected trails. I will be heading there this weekend. If you want to know how it is, email me next week and I will let ya know.
Look for the Lafeyette and Cheese Country trails at the following website.

Where do you currently ride? I am not aware of anything in Northern Ill but would appreciate the info.

I was in northern wisconsin for a fishing trip and saw a TON of snowmobile trails, but i know there are big disputes about atv's tearing them up. It would be great if you could give me and email (dersplatt@aol.com) telling me about these trails. I have heard about zion IL but not quite sure where it is. I live in Dekalb which is about a 60 mile drive from chicago, and about a 75 mile drive to the border of wisconsin. I ride on some short swampy trails that lead to a small riding area w/ some small hill climbs and jumps. Not much but it is a nice little ride.

I just went riding the cheese trail yesterday (6/27).I also live in northern Il. and have no place to ride. The main trail is flat and smooth. We rode from 6:30am until 4:30Pm stopping for breakfast and a few beers. They have a 12 mile trail off the main trail that has some hills and mud.We had a very good time and put on 140 miles. If you have any questions you can email me at diggers@mc.net.
