New to the forum. This winter I traded in my quad for a Polaris RRZ. I have not had it out yet, but I'm itching. I usually ride with my brother-in-law at Monday Creek at Wayne National forest. We have trips planned for May to Mines and Meadows in PA and trips to Hatfield McCoy in June and October.

Hello from Springfield Ohio...we too ride Monday Creek and make a couple trips a year to WV. Were you on buckeye riders before it broke apart? Well have to meet up at Wayne this summer. We usually ride with a group of four but are always open to meeting new riders.

Mudslinger- I has just joined the buckeye riders forum about a month before it dissapeared. That is why I sought out this forum. Heading to Wayne on the 15th, probabally with everyone else and their brothers.

 

We rode at Wayne on opening weekend last year...not as busy as you would guess! I think that we actually headed down on the 14th and spent the night and were riding by 7 or so on the 15th! The 15th falling on a Sunday this year probably means that we will be headed down the following weekend! I think that we are headed to Perry State Forest on Easter weekend at some point! Maybe we will see you on the trail...do you usually camp at Wayne?

I wasn't disappointed to see them fold...it was nice to stay connected with local riders and met a lot of great people through the site. Seemed like a lot of the original members had lost interest and moved on. I don't think we will be down on the 15th as it falls on a Sunday, but we will probably be down the following weekend. Hoping for a Spring as nice as our winter has been. We always camp in P2 and ride Dorr Run. We normally arrive on Friday night and do a night ride and then ride a full day Saturday before heading to home. We like riding up to New Straitsville to eat at the Country Kitchen. We'll have to set something up to meet down there sometime. We normally ride with a group of 4 (dad (darke county), brother (washington courthouse), myself, and a 4x4camaro (delaware) from buckeye riders) and look for mud and good trail riding.
