Hey everyone,

We've had honda trikes on the family farm for as long as i can remember. Now that im starting to take on more responsibility i've decided that its time to upgrade to a four wheeler.

This is what I ended up buying.

Its a 2004 sportsman 500ho, 2100 miles. It has front and rear bumpers and a winch.

I have a few basic maintenance things on the to do list. (Change fluids, clean carb etc) Where should i go to find some good information on these tasks?

I don't need this quad to go through fathoms of mud, i just want it to be reliable and start good in all weather as i will be using this quad year round. Any suggestions that would help winter performance?

So thats a basic over view of where i would like to go with this quad. I hope to learn as much as i can from the knowledgable crowd here! Remember i have no experience with quads let alone polaris sportsmen so if you guys have any tips on what to expect and watch out for i would really appreciate it!
