Default help! i need help with a lt230s

I bought a lt230 and loved it! It was in pretty bad shape. After about a week of driving it blew the rear axle. So I went out and bought two more. One is a 1988 lt230s. I just replaced the top end with the one from my old bike and it has spark just wont start. Can someone please help me

And I don't know how to set the decompression on the lt230e motor. I took it off and put it back in and it doesn't seem to be working
