Default sportsman 500 no power

I have a 2006 Polaris sportsman HO. I think I made a huge mistake by trying to jump it with car battery and now nothing turns on (completely dead). I've read there is a fuseable link somewhere but nobody seems to really know (no fuse box or breakers on this model). Think maybe it could be a burnt out magnetic switch?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. Probably burnt up the ecm module as it has all the circuit breakers.item#11.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse The 2006 model was on the original free recall for ecm modules. ecm has never been replaced. I was unaware of this recall. How do I go about getting it replaced? Is it as simple as giving them a call?

Just call a local dealer with your vin number. He should be able to check your vin# status on recall work done, let you come on in or order one for your machine and call you when he has it.. Looks like you may have lucked out on this one as there is no time limit on a safety recall.Plus possibly if anything else has been affected by what you did with the battery cables, the dealer may be able to have this warrantied also and blame it on the ecm? Just don't tell them about jumping it off!! You didn't hear this from me.

Here's the recall. Its a Safety Government recall with no time limit and you do not have to be the original owner. ATV: Polaris Ind. expands recall of ATVs
