In the market for a used ATV

Having the plow already installed is nice. 1600 is not much miles, my 2001 sportsman 500 runs good with 3600 miles.
Does the 450 have a winch? You need one to plow and they are $400 atleast.

http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...cleCode=426770 that's a odd ball a SXS with only one seat in the middle yet no wider then a ATV.
They have two, one with a 32hp no mention of motor size and one with the 45hp 570. 2015 Polaris Polaris Ace™ ATVs

The 32hp Ace would work. It is a smaller 330cc version of the 570 and other prostar motors. 5k for a new one? I would buy that in a heartbeat. Horse power doesn't plow snow anyway, torque does. With a low range you will loose traction before power. A lot of 500cc machines are in this power class, like the older 500 carb sportsmans and Hondas for a different perspective. We get over 100" most years, and I used a 2wd 230cc that was probably lucky to put out 15hp. We also used a 10hp garden tractor before we got the quad. Don't get hung up on power numbers unless you are mudding or duning, lol.
One of the places we ride, a guy is using an Ace with the 330 to pull a drag used to knock down the high centers on the trails.
One caveat, many people still prefer the ability to use body language to throw a quad around when trail riding. The Ace and side by side world limits that quite a bit.

I'd pick the Grizzly 700. $5500 is a bit high though, even with a winch and plow. 1600 is low miles. Roughly around 400-500 miles a year is average for most quads. So a quad 8 years old like the 07 Grizzly would normally average about twice that many miles. I think more like $4800 would be a reasonable offer on the 07 Grizzly. Might be able to agree on about $5000 and I believe that would be the best quad you could get for $5000.
