??? - I thought you had already confirmed! No matter...it's not bad news, but rather a direction to remedy...and an opportunity to learn more about the machine if you choose to tackle this yourself (if you're a seasoned mechanic please disregard

Found problem I melted piston and so I put new one in top end is all cleaned up I put it back together and it still won't fire only pops every so often

When you say "I put a new one in"...exactly what did you do? Hopefully not just slap another piston in...


Regardless...did you confirm compression after the piston swap? Almost starting sounds like barely not enough compression to run...
