So i've made the mistake of buying a beater project [4th Jan 2018], its going to need a lot of love but I'm in to win it

I've made a good profit on every older ATV that I've bought. Make it perfect, people will pay a premium. 1 Polaris and 2 Arctic Cats.

Welcome from Colorado. You will have to start a "build" thread and document your project as you take this old girl apart and refurbish it. I'm sure some folks will follow along and give you some helpful advice.

Not only that but if and when you decide to sell it you will have the perfect showing of how carefully you rebuilt the entire machine, save all your receipts and you should certainly find a buyer willing to pay a premium for a completely rebuilt machine.

I'll do that for sure, i've already started to finds parts for it [ebay.com].

Great older quad. One of the few that was 2wd with a low and high range. Buddy had one.

i bought this one on emotion since i remembered driving my grampa's 1986 Moto 4 225

edit: it still all snowed from the 6 hours drive in a heavy snow storm.
