I have a 1993 trx300ex that needed a new starter, we managed to get it out alright and when we went to put the new one in the nose of the starter just will not go all the way back in the hole. I have inspected both of them side by side and they are the exact same starter. And I checked online and it says they are the same too, they look identical. But I have tried everything to get it to go far enough inside where i can get the screws in but I can't. Anything will help, thanks!
