Hey all, Brandon here. I live in San Diego, CA.
Recently picked up a '19 Polaris Sportsman 570 SP Hunter Edition.
I'm interested in exploring trails and some mild rock crawling - not running WOT up and down dunes or anything like that.
I'm a complete noob to ATVs, but I've got a lot of time in Jeeps and a little on dual sports. Hoping this is the right machine that will give me a little of each.

I just installed a battery relocation kit and a new AGM battery.
Will be adding some storage and mounting a GPS soon.

Looking forward to connecting with some other riders to go explore the local mountains and deserts, eventually taking it up into the Sierras, Arizona, Utah, etc.

Thanks, and have a great one.

Does California even allow atvs in there state? With all the political correctness in the state, I am surprised they allow you to ride them.. .

Heh, yeah depends on where ya go. There's actually a lot of riding area, just not much around where most people live.
So that means a bit of a drive in the truck first.

Welcome to the forums. Nice machine. Polaris 570 is a good strong running machine. Not a dune blaster but will do just about anything you ask of it, other than keeping up with 800 cc+ machines.
