Hi there I am new to the page am wondering if someone can help I have a Chinese automatic quad with a few slight problems. Its turning over am getting a spark no problem however once I put the spark plug in it's like its draining the battery or theres just compression building up and it's to much for it to take it was starting no problem theres new fuel just been put in aswell but it wont start do you think it could be to do with old oil? Am unsure av exhausted all options any help would be great if a can find a way of posting some videos I will soon as I can it's the kids quad and there nipping my head to get over the field on it so sooner it's fixed the better lol

 

Hi, first you should check the battery, recharge it or even replace it. At least try with a new battery to see if it runs. Then check the carb, I am having problems with these chinese carbs but most of the times they start with a little help from a starting fuel spray. Also, you should at least visually check the electrical connections. (starter relay, ignition coil, generator, etc.) Don't be afraid to play with the carb's mixture screw, just remember where it was
