Gy6 add on revers transmission

Gy6 add on revers transmission
Problems with my atv carter 150cc gy6 transmission,or engine gears?
put new one and i am unable to adjust it,goes forward but doesnot have reverse,i i adjust cable all in submax shorter position i have reverse but not forward ,cant find median...
if i rase back weels,adjustment is easy,under the load is not possible...
bought on ebay for 178$,outside gearbox to replace mine
Dont know what to do next..
