Default New Member 2008 Prairie 360 clutch

Hi, New to the forum and am looking for help with a 2008 Prairie 360. It is in great shape and not used very much, just with the kids trail riding. The 4x4 light started blinking and it seems like the clutch will not disengage. When i start it and put it into gear(forward or reverse) it grinds or slams into gear and then starts rolling. The idle is set correctly. The 4x4 light blinks at 2 seconds. I was able to reset it and everything worked fine(clutch is not engaged, no lights, shifts fine) for a short time and then right back to the 4x4 light blinking and clutch staying engaged. The belt is loose and i will be replacing it, but it seems like it would cause the opposite of the problems I am having. The blinking code indicates it is a problem KEBC and 4x4 actuator. I unplugged the KEBC and the clutch seemed to stay engaged. I guess i don't completely understand how that works. I also did the internal resistance check on the KEBC and i have one that is not within range so i should replace. Doe it seem like i am on the right track?
