I am a newbie to the group, I am having one hell of a difficult time finding information and guidance in fixing my sons 2000 Eton TXL-50. Quick back story: Purchased and installed a 70cc big bore kit. The only way it will run is if I cover the carb almost fully with my finger. I tried to adjust the carb to the best of my ability, cleared fuel lines, new fuel (not premixed....yet.), new reed valve, new intake and gasket. It currently has a 14mm carb on it. I have tried to find bigger pilot and main jets. My current ones aren't labeled, some cheap China/Jap crap I assume. I did purchase a new carb... same issue. I even purchased a Dinli 24mm carb, but of course that does fit my application. Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I can fix my lean condition? I am up for suggestions, I do want to switch to premix ASAP. I tried stealing the jets off of the Dinli carb but they didn't fit my 14mm. I am stumped and having a hard time finding resources from dealers that have the knowledge I seek. Thank you!
