Default Mule 3010 problem

I have had a no start condition posted for a bit, now I have some new information to add to it... Discovered the no start condition to be a plugged air filter. The reason the air filter was plugged is because the crankcase ventilation system was drawing oil/fuel (due to misfire) into the intake. After removing the air filter the Mule ran, but still was drawing the oil/fuel mix. I changed the oil+filter and filled to proper level. Has ran without difficulty for approximately 1 hour. It is once again drawing the oil up into the intake. Why??? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I really wished you got an answer to this because I am having a similar problem. Mine will start and run but as soon as I get into the trottle it is bogging down. I also had oil in the air filter and am not sure why.

Default Mule 3010 problem

sounds like a cracked piston or something internal.....compression goes into crankcase and out of breather.
I saw something similar on a raptor.

Is it possible that you need a filter with less restrictive flow? I'm not too familiar with the Mule filter system, but a clogged filter or one with restricted air flow can cause increased suction on a rebreather line.

Check to see if a K&N makes a compatible air filter. K&N claims their filters increase air flow and increase horse power.

I think the 3010 Mule has an air filter restriction guage located just behind the filter housing. Check it often to see if it pops; if so, it would indicate restricted flow.

Clean unrestricted flow may not be the solution to sucking oil, but it's critical to a properly functioning engine.

Good luck!
