I've been reading this thread, and hear about people ******* auto tranny quads. What about putting manual tranny's on sleds? I bet it would SLOW the sleds down having to shift. The new sleds are so fast, you can carry the ski's in the air for quite a while and all your thinking about is hanging on to it...Theres no time to shift. just go like hell. There is something to be said about always being in the powerband all the time, its called an advantage. You can shift a manual trans cavalier 2.2L and think your bad, but when a auto tranny vette pulls up shifting had nothing to do with it. I'm not saying thats what were compairing here, but I am saying theres no room to poke fun of a auto tranny quad...its just part of the future, quads are changing in more ways that one. Just new to us, not a bad thing if you think about it.

 

No hand and foot can shift faster than an the automatic transmission in that V-Force...

For all you shifters out there...why do you think my modded Z is for sale? Because I spent 5 minutes on a 700....that's why.

 

Never ridin one. But if I could I would get it. Well it would be a toss up for me between the Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4. And the KFX 700. Haven't ridin either one. I ride alot on trails. So that's what made the scrambler appealing. But hey. It's all about what you can afford. Just enjoy the ride. Whatever that may be.
