vforce

hey wuts up guys,
I though this would be the best place to ask about the vforce. I would love to get the kfx400, pred, and so on but i screwed up my left foot and now i cant shift without crazy pain. I am going in for another surgury over the summer, and since i cant ride a standard anymore, i want to know about the vforce. top speed, accelleration, response to modifications, also, how does it compare to the raptor, pred, kfx400?? thanks in advance.

I understand...you'd love to get those bikes....but you can't b/c your foot.
Read some of the posted forums here...you'll find a lot of useful info. The KFX is comparable in top end speed to the Raptor and will take off faster than the Rappy. The Raptor has more guts in the mid range than the KFX. Same goes for the Predator.
Tops out at maybe 78 mph or so...I'm not sure (fast enough for me)
Accelleration is superb at the hole shot...but mid range it is just a bit weaker than the Rappy.
Looks like mods are coming out quick for this thing...just read some of the forums
I've rode the Rappy...the Predator...and soon a Z400....I just love my KFX. I do a lot of racing w/ buddies along w/ intense trail riding. I do not want for anything else. This machine rocks....and you'll be way more comfortable for a long ride on this machine than any other sport quad out there.
Oh yeah....you can ride a wheelie really easy and for as long as you can balance the power....

Bum foot or no bum foot, the 700 is a kick to ride. I own both a KFX400 & 700. My buddies kid owns a Predator, and one of the guys I ride with from time to time owns a Raptor, so I have ridden all of them. The 700 is the Best 2WD Trail quad out there. Stable, easy to ride, and will climb just about anything. Getting the front end up and over things is no trouble. GREAT low end power. Not the best Dune quad in the world, but will hold it's own against several of the Dune favorites. It will go anywhere you point it out on the sand, but you will notice the weight. Paddles are a MUST.
If you are worried about an Auto Trany quad being as sporty as a Manual Trany quad, Don't. The 700 is as much fun and is as much of a Sport Quad as any quad out there. It only takes one ride and you will understand. Good Luck.

The KFX 700 is a awesome quad, like RPM said it the best woods and trailing riding and ill say racing quad out right now. It has a top speed of 75-78 mph and acceleration is like an explosion, though the power levels off after you hit about 60. It is a ok sand dune rider but there are better models out there for that type of riding. The engine is phonamenal and just wow. Dont think because it is an automatic that it is slow, for that is a very bad stereotype, for the V totally rips. There hasnt been a whole lot of hop ups made by the aftermarket yet, but I would think it would really wake up with some goodies.
Raptor: They have a very close power range, the KFX has better acceleration with the Raptor taking in on the very top end. The KFX has better suspension hands down.
Predator: THe KFX has it beat in the engine department on top, mid, and bottom. The 700 V-Twin is just plain stronger than the 500. The suspension on the Predator is turned more for MX and the such, while the KFX are more for GNCC style racing.
KFX 400: The 700 stomps it in power throughout the powerband. The suspension on the KFX 400 is more for MX than the 700. Though the predator has better suspension and power than the KFX 400.

Hey MuDsLiCa..
I just wanted to drop a line and say that the whole reason for buying the V-force was so my wife could have a bike she could ride being that she does not know how to use a clutch. Before I picked it up, I was wishing I could have bought a raptor or z400, but this v-force will have to do for now. After I got this thing home, WOW! this thing is more fun than I could have imagined! I dont miss having a clutch at all! I can honestly say that this bike is the total package. Power, looks, agility, comfort, everything I could have asked for in a sport bike. The only problem is my wife is usually stuck at home while i'm off on my V hitting the trails.
