Advice needed for tuning up prairie 650.
I recently put the penland big gun exhaust on. I also added a k&n ait filter and added the 145 jet and moved the 142 to the front. I didnt feel too much gain in power. The response seems to be there but before the mods I was losing power since I first bought it. Any suggestions?
Also when working on the carbs I took out the chain tensioner. I installed it like the manual said. I am sure it is in right but how do i tell?

Here's a suggestion. NEVER modify a bike that's not running 100% perfectly to start with. You must first fix the problems with the bike before you start trying to add performance, not adding performance parts to try to make up for a loss/problem. Go back to stock, figure out what's wrong with your quad, and then start playing. Secondly, on a 4 stroke an exhaust isn't going to give you that much gain, so don't expect night and day differences =]

Garmin E-trex'es are a type of GPS unit...they have may models, one being the Vista. RAM makes all types of shock resistant handlebar mounts. Makes it nice to be able to view the gps from the bars, especially since they have such small screens. Good luck with your bike!

Eric,
Next time you change the rear tires, make sure you remove the rear swingarm to get the wheels exactly lined up with the hubs!!!!! I've also heard that when you remove the cam chain tensioner, you have to fill up the headlight fluid, tighten the muffler bearings, shave the amateur sprocket, and pull the target stop back two clicks and put a half a turn on the main........ LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
