Default 650 valves sound loud

I just got my KVF 650 back from it's 10 hour (actually had 16 hours on it) check and before I brought it in, the engine was nice and quiet. Now it sounds like there is a valve that is slapping. Or is it just the exhaust in the pipe that I'm hearing? They said that a few valves were tight when they checked them. Should I be worried about this noise and bring it back? Or is this normal? Thanks

Are you sure it isnt just the cvt shoes? They are the only noise most people's 650 makes (besides exhaust).

This is little knock, right side, dissapears when not idling.

No it's not coming from the CVT area, it's definatly from the upper engine area. When I stick my head right down by the CVT, i can hear it from above. It sounds like metal on metal clanking. It's there when you rev it up a bit too.

The valves on my 650 are on the loose end of the spectrum and they do tend to be a little noisy. I prefer them that way compared to being too tight. If it's a concern to you have them adjust the valves to the tight end of the specs and the noise should go away or be considerably quieter.
