Default Bent a tie rod on my V

Has this happened to anyone else? I wheelied off the trail and landed in a washout the other night, not very hard, but landed on my left front tire, and I noticed tonight while loading it up that my tie rod was bent. I didn't notice it the other night when I washed it, but all I did tonight was take jumps and ride a little MX track, I definitely didn't land hard enough to bend a tie rod. Any suggestions for aftermarket? I seem to remember reading of someone who made heavy duty ones on their own.

Bent both of mine. It's a safty measure from Kawasaki so nothing else would break, but They are too weak. This is the aftermarket ones I have on know, and there the same ones Team Green uses.

V-Force tie rods $65.00 + shipping

I bent mine the first weekend I had the bike. They bend easy but they also straighten out easy too. I have about 15-18 tanks of fuel through the bike since and they have not bent since. I now ride harder as I now know this bike and the rods have stayed true. Unless you are doing the organized race thing, Leave the stock rods in!!. They will save other parts and take about 5 minutes to remove , straighten and re-install...should you zig when you should of zagged

It does not take much to bend them and you would rather them bend and the a-arms an etc. They cost less than 10 bucks to replace. The stock tie rods on my raptor are only like 6 bucks.

The reason they make them that way isnt to save the quad, its to save your wrists. You hit somthing good and hard and your going to be looking at a broken wrist with aftermarket tierods.

I just called and ordered mine, mine havent bent yet, but they will. I have nailed a few washouts and roots hard enuff to yank the bars outta my hands and the first thing I did was check them. I ordered them from JD and they said they were out, and would have some in about a week and a half. I said put me on the list. Really nice lady I talked to there, real honest and seems to be a awesome place to buy from..
