Hey guys, who makes the best? What are the pros and cons of having them? Are there any brands with exclusive features?.........Thanks

Well i dont know who makes the best, but the pros and cons are that you add some wieght to your quad, but you can rub tires to a competiter without tangling tires. ITs also good so u never run over your feet if your foot slides off the foot pegs. Sometimes that happens to me.

I know that the GNCC Team Green racers have been using the AC nerfs. I am going to switch to the new Pro Armor nerfs. They are making pro pegs, they also raise up in the rear for added protection. I know they will be available to the public here soon.

Thanks guys, I have never had nerfs before. I will be riding mountain trails and doing a little drag racing. Will the nerfs have any disadvantages on the trail? I have been in a few situations with ruts where the option of shifting weight on nerfs may have helped with balance. Any opinons on nerfs for trail riding? I did check out the pro armor site; they looked like the ones to get......thanks

I believe nerfs are a must have, if you ever have your foot slip off the foot pegs and you run your foot over you will be in alot of pain or you may end up with broken bones!

They will not effect your trail riding, they will protect you from catching trees into the rear tires or into your legs.

I don't have nerfs yet...but plan to get some when I settle on a good looking pair. I ride w/ a friend who has them on his Rappy...and he is able to actually use the rail on the nerf to BUMP off trees and swing his a$$ end around. Makes it easier to manuver in some tight conditions.

Plus I've jumped his bike and they help out tremendously on the landing.
