Hey, Medsker!
I've got one up here in the great northwest! There's actually a fair number of them around here (although you have to look hard to find them). I have to admit, when I go to the dunes I do have one of the rarest sights out there. Unfortunately, mine was rebuilt some years ago with white plastics, but that's all gonna change soon. I've carried around an original brochure from the dealership since '87, and I finally found one. In a sea of Banshees and Fourtraxes, it's kinda nice to be the oddball! I'm currently looking for information on stuffing a KX500 motor into it so I can blow-off the 250R's, and suprise a few Banshee riders. I don't have much to go on as far as performance specs, especially since mine is pretty tired right now, but I do like the way it handles compared to the Fourtraxes. It seems to be a pretty well balanced machine, stable in whoops and high-speed sections, not nearly as twitchy as the Honda. It does have some nice features such as easily replaceable balljoints, a hideaway headlight, and a normal (rearward) kickstarter.
