My Ridin buddy had a 99 praire i beleive, well, its the current body style, and he's thinking his belt is getting bad. So we thought we'd pop that cover off, so we took out all the bolts out except one, that we just coudln't get out. Its on the bottum, and it appears the foot brake blocks access to it, and its hard to get a wrench up threw those little holes, anyone from experiance have a good way of getting that baby off? it would be much appriecaited, thanks

The brake pedal has to come off. Your friend needs to read about my experience with the Prairie. (read "Prairie 400 or Kodiak") The belt is to be serviced monthly by your dealer!! It is in the Owners Manual, like page 83(I Think). If you are hearing a ringing sound the pulley sheave is wearing on the shaft. Soft Al on steel, and if it is call and "raise cain" with Kawasaki. When it gets real bad it will cost about $800 to repair. Tell your friend that I wish him the best.
