piski

I sure hope they give you some sort of a deal LOL!!!

Well I was the second person from our group to go through the hole. The first person had a Honda 350 and she went to the left of the hole. She got stuck halfway through it. So I decided to go to the right and I made it through without any problems. Both left and right sides where pretty deep, but I think the left side was a bit more rutted. I do have to agree, the water was pretty deep. If wouldn't of had my rain suit, my *** would of got soaked LOL!!!! The only bad thing about that hole is that there was a lot of grass in the hole and it got everywhere. I spent the whole day today cleaning up the bike. I removed a full bucket of grass from the bike. I had every piece of black fender off including the front inner pieces to try and clean her out.

Overall it was a great run. We also had a blast in the sand pit. Did you do the whole run, or did you go down the road at the end? If you did the whole thing did you see the last hole at the end of the run that had the stick sticking out of the water. That was a huge rock. Glad they warned us about it.

Its free compared to the states, I would rather pay $1000+ a year in Canada than pay $50,000 every 10 years (rough figure of all the things that would happen to you over a 10 year period including 1 surgery) in the states. We complain about taxes but Canadians have it pretty damn good.

yup..saw that big rock...!!!!!!!!!!!! We live only like 10 mins away from that big hole we talked about earlier...actually..at the end of that dirt road...so I can just leave the house and be out there in no time. It's nice not having to trailer to get to nice trails...there's miles and miles of them out there !!!!!
Yea, that's my job this morning, to clean her up....and then....i'll likely be out getting those first 10 hrs. on it. AHHHHHH...the beauty of shiftwork....lol I get the trails all to myself through the week !!!!!!

piski,

I really enjoyed the trails this weekend. Too bad it was raining. It was my first time atving out in the Junction. I'd like to go again on a nice sunny day so that I can really enjoy myself. 2 weekends ago we went up to Tracy and we went to Gaspareau Falls. Ever been their? We rode a bunch of trails around that area. We had a blast.

yup..sure have Dan...actually the tuesday after the poker run...I was up that way for a scoot....crossed the river a couple times, heading towards the Cork road, but circled back and stopped at the falls, then back home. Those falls are only like 25 miles or so from the house through trails. seems i've got the biking bug again, had the Jeep'n bug there for a few years, but I can't seem to stay off this 650...haven't even had the boat in the water to go fishing yet !!!!!!!!!

bbertram, That is actually not the case, it is true that medical cost are high but thats what we have insurance for, most people that have a job are covered under company medical and the ones that are self employed buy the insurance on there own. With my hobbies I make a trip or two to the hospital every year and it cost next to nothing. My company pays 100% of my medical, dental, vision, ect insurance. The ones that dont get medical insurance on there own get it supplied to them by the goverment free of charge. Just ask the Mexicans.

I do wish we had more public ground to ride on though.

piski,

I have the same problem. I just can't stay off that 650. On another note, I know that you are looking for some tires. I was looking throught this week Auto Trader and I noticed that City Argo & Motorsports in Miramichi have some Mudlites on special.

They are selling Mudlites 26x10x12 & 26x12x12 $400 Taxes included (Set of 4). I know that you where looking to maybe go with a bigger size, but a good deal anyway.

bbertran Socialsim,Communism,Stalinism,Marxism,Facism,Clint onism What ever you chose to call it don't work . Most of us in the USA have full Medical insurance just the bums dont and they get it for free already. You are getting sucked dry by the socialist with next to nothing to show for it not even a way to defend yourselves .What if Iceland or a well armed boyscout troop atcked ? You can always call France for help.

thanks Dan.

I can get tires at cost price..but i've just gotta figure out which ones i want is all..picking up some bumpers today..so i'll hold a bit on the tires side of things, so the "accountant" doesn't get her feathers inna ruffle. ya know of anyone Dan who is using the black secondary clutch spring ? ...and i WAS gonna keep this thing stock...just can't seem to leave well-enough alone sometimes
