So they had to add a low fuel light because you can't switch to reserve.

There is a petcock, It is under the plastic that you must remove to get to the air filter box

There is no reserve. When the light comes on it has .8 gallon of fuel left.

I like my ride I sure as hE|| am not gonna let some writer tell me what quad is best for me! Just be happy your choices for a new sport quad were not limited to a 350 Warrior, 350 Banshee, 200 Blaster, 300Ex, 250 Mojave, 400L sport. Not that they are not fine rides but not my Idea of High performance. Well maybe the banshee is high performance! 1998 That was your pics. From the looks of things they are only getting better!

Hey RaptorRider660r. You need to stop because you are making too much sense and I'm not used to that! LOL. Yeah, i just sat and pretended it was 1998 and i imagined i was in the hunt for a new sport quad. Going over the choices i got a sick feeling in my stomach. I guess it would have been the Banshee. Thank God for the new models. Now we just need more land for all the new quads. There were less quads in 1988 but more land, more quads now and less land.

Eaglesflyalone, I have the same feeling about the V on tight trails. I went trail riding for the first time on my V this weekend in Capital Forrest. About 1 hour into the ride I got on a real tight trail, it was as wide as by quad and the trail was cut with about 2' side walls.

I caught a stump hidding in the sidewall surrounded by bushes. My V shot up and rolled twice, I did the famous superman dive to get away from it. It thrashed my handle bars and bent my tie rod (AGAIN). I was able to ride for about another 1/2 mile before my tie rod said no more. Had to remove the rod and take it back to camp to straighten it out. After reinstallation and a field front end allignment I was back riding, except my handle bars were shape like a chopper. Worked on the bars for a bit and was back in bussiness.

I ordered the stronger tie rods yesterday to replace the stock ones. Next time on those trails I'll have to avoid the tight paths.

Oh well.......Off to Cous Bay in a week.

Were the drags on sand. If they were, I can see the 700 losing. The Holeshots are pittiful in sand.
I went to the sand drags at Genoa a couple weeks ago and seen the same thing. I'm really not that impressed with the V-Force so far.DS 650 ,Raptors, and Predators were smoking the V-Force. Don't mean to make anybody mad. Thats just what I seen!

Well the V wasnt made for sand it wieght is too high. It was made for east coast woods racing and that is what it is best at. It has also been good on tuff desert racing not duning but the Baja stuff, that is when this quad will flat out rock! You can all say what you want i love my V and there is nothing anyone can say that would make me think different.
