Looking at duals for my Vforce...question about the DMC's
I am thinking of getting the DMC dual barreel exhaust and headpipe system, total price is $579 on www.moto-man.com Are these good pipes compared to Yoshi's and Pro Circuits? It doesn't give any db ratings or baffle info, it says they add alot of power, but doesn't list hp increase. I do like the look alot. I just have to find out the jetting, hp, and db's, What do you guys think of them? Thanks....

Looking at duals for my Vforce...question about the DMC's
Yes I think the DMC pipes are GREAT. I have owned FMF, Pro Circuit, and White Bros R4 exhaust systems and the DMC is the best yet. Excellent quality, fit, great sound and best of all a real seat of the pants (5-7 hp) increase in horsepower. The jetting specs are 138 main front, 140 main rear and 3 1/4 out on the fuel screws. This is for sea level but I used mine in Hungry Valley(Gorman) at 3000-4500 ft with no problems. The biggest increase comes in the mid range. I got this quad for my wife but I am finding I enjoy it almost as much as my 650R. Just be aware these pipes are VERY LOUD. Hope this helps.

Looking at duals for my Vforce...question about the DMC's
I called them today, they said the quiet core/arrrestor combo comes out the 25th of this month. But this is what I don't understand, they are $69 each, and the rep said it would take away about 3 of the 6.5 hp gained OUCH! The system without the quiet cores puts out around 100-103db's. I need to be at 94 to ride in the Silver Lake sand dunes, but I want duals more than a slip on so.... FMF has the Q system available, but doesn't list any specs either. I want the most hp gain at around 94-96db. I like the look of the Alien system alot, what about this MBRP system, what kinda hp/db's is it at? Thanks guys.
