Default Response from Dyna on CDI

Here is the response I got back from Dyna regarding the CDI for the P650.
---------------------

Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. Unfortunately, we do not offer an ignition system for this model and there is no schedule at this time. If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Sincerely,

Default Response from Dyna on CDI

What gives with these big companies? I thought they would jump on an opportuinity like the P650 cdi. From what I have read on other forums, MSD has tried a couple versions and may be pulling out soon as well. That only leaves one company in California that I know of that is actively persuing this issue. The word is that it is hard to make one work that is different enough to avoid potential lawsuits from the original cdi maker (not Kawi). Maybe these add-on cdi tweakers are the way to go? I was told that the latest one coming out will allow more than stock advance to a rev limit of 8500 RPM! That would be music to my ATV's ears. Time will tell.

I just received a response from MSD, they say they are looking at another 6 months for the CDI on the P650. Seems like Ive heard this before! Maybe the more people that ask about it the better chance we have of getting it.
