Default V force wiring(tach)

Tried wiring VDO tach tonite, keep getting blips of ignition pulse, but not steady pulse. I think this unit has a 3 phase stator and something is a little different, maybe a dominant cyl. or something like that?I'll try again tomorrow.anyone have experiance out there?

I've tried to get different tachs to work on the p650, with no luck, something about the pulse, the only one's that seem to work are the one's that get a pulse from the spark plug. A wire thats rapps around the plug.

I use a digatron playback tach.

Good luck.
