P650: no more overheating
I had been having excessive fan running times even during light use or in cool temperatures. I added about 3 oz. of ATV super cool from HL and now the fan hardly ever comes on even during heavy use. I would say the fan might come on now about 10 % of what it used to and this is with about half the recommended dose for an atv. Both of my atv's run good and are well mantained , and the rad was always clean, but the fan always came on excessively.
I was just on a long ride (70 miles) through some very ugly swamps and the fan hardly ever came on. On one occasion I had to crawl slowly from one stuck quad to another in a swamp to winch out my buddies and the fan never came on once where before it wouyld have been ruunning almost full time. I think any of the different additives such as water wetter will do the same job, but I highly recomend it for anyone with the same issue with the fan I had.
FOr canadians if you want to get this stuff from HL you will pay extra for the shipping as it is a controlled substance. Water wetter is probably easier to get locally and cheaper but it is worth it.
