Default How to Jet the 700?

This is a formal request for instructions on changing the main jets. (I assume there are 2 carbs) I've jetted a mikuni on a blaster so I have a little bit of experience, but I'd feel better with some instructions. If there is a good link that will work too.

I really don't know how to jet a v700 but if it's anything like my p650 it's not hard. Just get a brand new #2 phillips screw driver... your gonna need it! You might wanna check nyroc's website he might have some info there to help ya.

I havent changed the main jets yet but this is what I've heard.

1. Remove plastic over airbox
2. Remove snorkel to clutch & another piece of plastic in the way
3. From the clutch side of the ATV you will see 2 carbs with 4 screws each
4. Remove the 8 screws, be carefull because they strip easy
5. You now have access to replace the mains.

I havent jetted yet but I suppose draining the carbs first would keep you from bathing in gas. Also I think steps 1 and 2 are required for cleaning the rear spark plug if you do that. I did buy some smaller jets since I'm at 4600ft but I'm gonna play with the airbox a little instead of using smalller jets for now. I suppose when the K&N comes out I may actually have to get bigger jets.
